A FANTASTIC cabin in Rauland where you have EVERYTHING!
Everything you need and could wish for – in summer, autumn, winter, and spring.
[Some neighbors even say it is by far the finest cabin in the entire area – we thank them kindly]

Bestehytta – named by our oldest grandchild – is a wonderful place, no matter the season.
And that says a lot when we are among the very few in Norway who pass renowned winter destinations such as Brokke in Setesdalen, Hovden in Setesdalen, and Haukeli in Vinje to reach our cabin in Heimvegli Hyttegrend by Vierli, high up on the Rauland plateau.
We feel we have had a wonderful life so far and have no intention of changing that – if we can help it…
At the same time, we believe others should also have the opportunity to share in our NiceLife by renting our mountain cabin, our motorhome, or our house in Spain.
We have realized that we cannot use everything all the time – neither we nor our children and grandchildren – and it feels good to let others enjoy it as well, even with a rental cost.
Many years ago, we owned a cabin at Hafjell which we rented out periodically, and we had a very positive experience with that.
That is why we have chosen to do the same now, as we see that we will be spending more and more time in our house on the Costa Blanca in Spain, while not wanting to sell our gem in Rauland.
In this way, more people get the opportunity to “taste mountain cabin life.”
In principle, the cabin is available year-round, though somewhat dependent on our own use and that of our children and grandchildren. In any case, if it is available in the calendar, it is available.

As you will see below in the list of amenities, the cabin is of a very high standard, with excellent quality in all components – as one would expect at this price level.
Vi kjøpte hytta for noen få år siden og gjorde den umiddelbart “til vår egen”.

Other important points
- Minimum age for tenants is 28 years
- Minimum stay (high season): 3 nights
- Minimum stay (low season): 3 nights
- Check-in no earlier than Sundays at 16:00
- Check-out no later than 11:00
- Non-smoking
- Pets are not allowed
Insurance
- Insurance is provided by If and is included in the rental price
- The cabin is connected to a security monitoring center with a 10-minute response time (if activated, the owner must be contacted immediately by SMS at +47 9165 1152)
- In the event of an insurance claim, the owner must be contacted immediately in addition to the insurance company, at bestehytta@nicelife.no
